Victoria Beckham Rules Out Spice Girls Reunion

Victoria Beckham and Melanie C have reportedly ruled out a Spice Girls reunion due to other commitments, despite the fact that Melanie B and Emma Bunton were keen to go ahead. The girls were said to have been planning a reunion tour to coincide with the tenth anniversary of the hot single 'Wannabe', featuring all five Spice Girl: Ginger, Baby, Posh, Sporty and Scary. However, with Ginger Spice Geri Halliwell heavily pregnant, Posh Spice Victoria Beckham and Sporty Spice Mel C not keen, the tour looks like a non-starter. Beckham is said to have realised that a reunion would be a potential PR disaster for her budding fashion career, while Mel C does not want to perform with her ex-bandmates again. The decision is said to have been amicable, after a meeting at the Beckham's UK home, where the girls decided to put their solo projects first. The Spice Girls were one of Britain's most successful pop groups during the nineties, with eight number one singles during the 1990s, several albums and even a movie to their name.
