Kylie Minogue Ready to Hit the Charts Again
Kylie Minogue is gearing up to make a triumphant return to the pop arena and she is enlisting the help of a famous friend for good measure. The pint-sized pop star is said to be collaborating with Boy George on her upcoming album. "He was the first act Kylie saw live. She is thrilled to work with him," a source told the Sun newspaper. Minogue appeared on stage at George's comeback concert last week. The pair, who both rose to the top of the charts in the 1980s, are to be joined in the studio by Mike Stock, Matt Aitken and Pete Waterman who are responsible for producing many of Minogue's hit records. Kylie was diagnosed with breast cancer in May 2005. She immediately cancelled all work commitments and spent her time recuperating in France with boyfriend Olivier Martinez. She is relaunching her showgirl tour in Australia next month, with her next album set for release in 2007.
