BBC: Kylie Minogue is to begin her postponed Australian Showgirl tour in November following her recovery from breast cancer surgery.
"Obviously she has still got a few mountains to climb," said Australian concert promoter Michael Gudinski.
"But we are very confident that the tour will be going ahead in November," he added.
Minogue was due to start the Australian leg of her world tour in May 2005 when she was diagnosed with cancer.
The singer had then planned to tour Asia but no announcement has been made about any other possible tour dates.
