Jessica Simpson to Release New CD

Jessica Simpson's latest album is set for release on August 29th. The CD, entitled A Public Affair, will be the first release from the star since her highly publicised divorce. The album of 12 songs includes 9 songs that were co-written by the singer, who is also embarking on a cinema career. The CD's first video was shot last weekend, and includes appearances by Eva Longoria, Christina Applegate, Ryan Seacrest, Christina Milian, Andy Dick and Maria Menounos.
