Jessica Simpson Changes Record Label

Singer Jessica Simpson has moved from Columbia, who she has been with since 1999, to Epic Records. According to Billboard magazine, the singer-turned-actress is currently working on her next CD, which she hopes to release before the end of the year. The two record labels are both owned by Sony/BMG. The singer explained that she made the decision to switch because she preferred the management team at Epic.
