'The Interpreter' to Debut at Film Fest

The Interpreter, a thriller starring Nicole Kidman and Sean Penn, will make its world premiere on opening night at this year's Tribeca Film Festival. The movie, which Sydney Pollack directed, will be screened April 19, festival organizers announced Tuesday. Several scenes for the film were shot on location inside the United Nations last year, which irked some diplomats because they wanted to appear on camera and were replaced by actors.
