The Da Vinci Code Opens at the Louvre?
The producers of the The Da Vinci Code are hoping to have the European premiere of their film at the world-famous Louvre in Paris.
The film is based on the book by Dan Brown, which takes place at the famous art Museum that houses the Mona Lisa.
More than 7 million people have visited the Paris Museum in recent months and the producers have been impressed with the record number of visitors who travelled to the Louvre during the past year. Experts believe that the tourism increase has been sparked by the book.
Ron Howard, who directed the film, was given unprecedented special permission to film on location at the Louvre.
