Sharon Stone Wants to Direct Basic Instinct 3

Sharon Stone has said that she would love to make a third Basic Instinct film, but this time, she'd like to direct. Stone who plays Catherine Tramell, now wants to try her hand working behind the camera. The 48 year-old explained, "There's a script for the next part of the story - but I would like to direct it rather than star in it. It will be filmed in the UK again as the setting is more intense and gritty." The American actress, who filmed Basic Instinct 2 in England (the photo), enjoyed her stay in the country, but it looks a little premature to start thinking about a third film - following last weekend's premiere, Basic Instinct 2 has not done very well at box offices.
