Kim Basinger to Join 24

Kim Basinger is currently in talks to join the cast of the television series 24 for its next season. The 52 year-old star told IMDB that she had mentioned to the show's star, Kiefer Sutherland, that she was a fan of the series. Basinger and Sutherland worked together in the film The Sentinel. The American beauty commented on her new role by saying, "I love that show. That would be cool." Sutherland also showed his enthusiasm for Basinger to join the cast, saying, "I'M gonna hold her to that."
