Jessica Alba and Tom Cruise team up for horror film

Jessica Alba has signed on to star in horror thriller The Eye for Tom Cruise's production company. The 25-year-old has signed a $4 million deal to star in the movie, which is a remake of the Hong Kong film Jian Gui. The movie is being made for the Mission: Impossible star's Cruise/Wagner Productions. It is not yet known whether Cruise will co-star in the film. Alba will play Allison, a woman who received an eye transplant that allows her to see into the supernatural world. Production starts next month on location in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
