Girls Aloud movie

British pop band Girls Aloud is considering taking a break from the music industry to spend more time on the big screen.
The girlgroup had a cameo appearance in St Trinian's (2007) and the singers insist the movie gave them a taste for acting. Singer Kimberley Walsh reveals they are all keen on making a picture together, but only if the right script comes along. She says, "We want it to be a Friends and Sex and The City kind of thing, all morphed into one."
And bandmate Nicola Roberts (the photo) agrees. She adds, "We'd really like the chance to do some more acting. We've been given a lot of dodgy scripts, they were all awful. One was a horror film where we would all have been running through the woods in our underwear. If we did make our own film, it would be really special. It would be a great thing to show the kids."
