Beyonce and Eva Longoria will be Lesbians
Sophia Coppola will be thanked by men worldwide if her next film gets the go-ahead. Coppola, who directed Virgin Suicides and Lost in Translation, is planning to cast sexy singer Beyonce and Eva Longoria as lesbians in her next film. The film, an adaptation of Tipping the Velvet by Sarah Water, centres on music hall star Kitty Butler and her lesbian lover during the 1890s. Longoria, who often tops sexiest women lists in men's magazines, is said to be thrilled with the prospect of working with Coppola. "Yes it's true, we're talking about doing that," the Daily Star newspapers quotes her saying about the raunchy flick. "It's such a wonderful novel, a beautiful love story." Beyonce, who has made the leap from Destiny's Child to the silver screen with roles in Dream Girls and Austin Powers 3, is just as excited about the project and likened the subject matter to a recently acclaimed homosexual film. "We've had Brokeback Mountain so the time is right for this divine novel to get the same treatment," she said. The sexy stars, who have shared much screen time with men, are eager to bring the characters to life. "They both seemed to think it would be more fun than doing the same work with a man," a source said.
