Alicia Keys has joined the cast of the cinema adaptation of the bestselling book, The Nanny Diaries. She will be co-directed by Shari Springer Berman and Robert Pulcini.
The film stars Scarlett Johansson as a woman from New Jersey who becomes a nanny for a wealthy Manhattan family, with Keys as her best friend. Chris Evans, Laura Linney, Paul Giamatti and Donna Murphy also star in the movie. The Nanny Diaries is a satire written by Nicola Kraus and Emma McLaughlin.
Keys also just completed filming Smokin' Aces, in which she co-starred with Ben Affleck, Jason Bateman, Don Cheadle and Peter Berg.
