Update: Trump to Miss USA: 'You're not fired!'
Real estate mogul and owner of the Miss USA franchise Donald Trump has reportedly ordered the reining Miss America to pack her bags and hand over her tiara. Tara Connor, 20, is believed to have been sent back to Kentucky after she was deemed unfit to carry on being Miss USA. She has been forced to hand over her title to the runner-up, Miss California Tamiko Nash, according to sources. Insiders say it was Tara's hard partying ways that convinced organisers of the pageant that she is not behaving in a way they would expect of a Miss USA. Her dethronement comes amid rumours of under-age drinking, as the legal drinking age in the States is 21, and inappropriate behaviour in bars around New York. An insider told the TMZ, "Honestly, she's kind of like Lindsay Lohan." Lohan, also 20, has recently admitted that she is attending AA meetings to help her in her battle against the booze. There is no official word yet from the Miss USA camp, but insiders say it is only a matter of time before an announcement of the dethronement is made. When Tara was crowned, she said she was "an easygoing, down-to-earth girl". She added, "I want to see how far this year can take me."
