Silence rules for Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie

Their relationship has generated as many headlines as most Hollywood romances, but Nicole Richie insists that there is no possibility that she will reunite with former best-friend-forever Paris Hilton. The Simple Life co-stars and lifelong pals had a public falling out and while neither has confirmed what ended the friendship, both have hinted that the other is to blame. Nicole has gone on record saying that she no longer has anything in common with the Hilton hotel heiress. Paris, on the other hand, told one magazine that fame had gone to the blonde head of her former mate and that this was what had caused the rift. In an interview on The Tyra Banks Show, Nicole said that any reports that the pair were friends again were false. "We haven't been friends in about three years. There was no falling out. We're just not the same people," she said. Nicole also denied rumours that she is suffering from an eating disorder. The two socialites have continued their contracted responsibilities in the current series of their reality TV-show, but all of their scenes where filmed separately.
