Rachel Weisz Stunned By Oscar Win
Oscar winner Rachel Weisz thought she had only imagined her name being called out at the Academy Awards, because her pregnancy has left her brain addled.
The British beauty - who is seven months pregnant - was stunned when she was named Best Supporting Actress for her performance in The Constant Gardener.
Weisz says, "With the lead-up, the adrenaline, the baby was going crazy. But on stage it's so overwhelming I could have hardly told you my name."
The actress regrets she forgot to thank her fiance, film-maker Darren Aronofsky, because she was so dazed.
She explains, "I think it's because I'm pregnant, my brain is a bit like porridge. I think I was a big blank. Once I was on stage, I couldn't feel anything. It's a very strange surreal feeling."
