Petra Nemcova and James Blunt to wed?

A sparkling diamond ring on Petra Nemcova's ring finger has triggered rumours that she has become engaged to James Blunt. The model, who has been dating the singer since June, was spotted wearing the ring in New York, where she is currently filming an advert for Hewlett-Packard. In comments reported by the World Entertainment News Network, Nemcova said that she is "definitely, definitely in love" and that part of the reason they have bonded so well is that they have both experienced tragedy in their lives. Nemcova lost her then-boyfriend Simon Atlee during the Boxing Day tsunami and Blunt was stationed in Kosovo during his time in the British Army. Apparently they "relate, understand, without having to explain, where we come from" because of these experiences. "James is a real guy who, having been through a lot, has great values," she said. "The tsunami made everything deeper and more intense. Time's too short to waste a moment of joy with anyone who's still here." Before dating the Czechoslovakian beauty, Blunt had a long-term relationship with Camilla Boler and a high-profile fling with socialite Tara Palmer-Tomkinson.
