Penelope Cruz and Orlando Bloom?

Orlando Bloom and Penelope Cruz may be an item, after the pair were spotted getting close in Los Angeles this weekend. A source told the New York Post that the actor and the Spanish actress danced the night away at trendy nightclub Hyde. "They were definitely together and holding hands," the witness said. Bloom was then seen with the sexy star twice more over the next two days, including an intimate dinner with the actress' sister Monica. But representatives of both have suggested that Orlando and Penny are not dating after all. Earlier this month Bloom split with girlfriend of four years Kate Bosworth, after the Superman Returns actress apparently grew tired of his penchant for drinking with British buddies such as Sean Bean rather than spending quality time with her. Cruz meanwhile has been involved with many a big-name in recent years, not least Tinseltown black sheep Tom Cruise, which led to intense hilarity that if the couple got married she could take the name Penelope Cruz-Cruise.
