Paula Abdul Cleared By Fox
American Idol judge Paula Abdul has been sensationally cleared of having a sexual relationship with contestant Corey Clarke by Fox Television Network's special probe into the affair.
Clarke claimed he enjoyed an affair with Abdul and received special coaching in an illicit attempt win the talent show but Fox now believe he fabricated the claims in a bitter rage after being booted off the hit show.
In a statement, Fox said the investigation found Abdul had been in contact with Corey outside of the TV show but received no help with his songs, wardrobe or performance techniques.
Abdul, famed for hits like Straight Up has denied she aided Clarke or enjoyed a sexual relationship with him. In a statement she said she was "grateful this ordeal is over".
Fox's statement revealed Abdul acknowledges she had phone conversations with Clark while he was a contestant, but she denied the talks were related to her giving assistance.
Fox said, "(Their stories) differ greatly and no evidence was uncovered to resolve the conflicts in their accounts."
