Naomi Watts is expectin her first child.
Australian Daily Telegraph announced last week that Watts was pregnant, when she was back in Sydney for her friend
Nicole Kidman's wedding.
The pregnancy rumours began when she was seen out and about in baggy clothing. The rumours gathered pace when Naomi was photographed in Brentwood, California visiting a fertility clinic. Watts was seeing Chinese fertility expert Lily Liu, who is known for boositng fertility.
Watts would have liked children earlier, saying: "I wish it could have happened a little bit sooner. I have wanted a family since I was 19."
