Mena Suvari Asks for Divorce

Mena Suvari, star of American Beauty has filed for divorce from her husband, filmmaker Robert Brinkmann, after five years of marriage. A representative for Suvari confirmed the couple have irreconcilable differences. Suvari, 26, met Brinkmann, 43, while working on the film Sugar and Spice. They were married in March, 2000, shortly after Suvari turned 21.
