Jessica Simpson Wants A New Judge

Jessica Simpson is said to be demanding a new judge to preside over her divorce proceedings. In a request filed on Wednesday in Los Angeles, the star asked for a replacement for Judge Michael Lindfield, claiming that he is biased. Simpson's lawyer explained, "The Judge is prejudiced against Petitioner (Jessica Simpson) and/or Petitioner's attorney. He and/or Petitioner cannot have a fair and impartial trial." According to Extra, Simpson and her husband, Nick Lachey, are negotiating to find a new judge to hear their case. Simpson filed for divorce last week after a month of separation.
