Hilary Duff Seeks Protection Against Stalkers

Hilary Duff is seeking a restraining order against a fan who she claims has become too obsessed with her. The singer and actress, whose fans usually consist of young girls, has filed a court order in LA claiming that a Russian man moved to the US hoping to become involved with her. She claims he has bombarded her with messages, passed on by his friend, who is also named in the claim. Duff has been dating Joel Madden for almost two years. The report says that the fan "has stated his belief that Hilary is in love with him and that Joel Madden stands in their way". The 19 year old star is requesting that both men stay at least 100 feet away from her and Madden at all times.
