Fergie: Crystal meth like a bad boyfriend

Fergie has confessed beating her crystal meth addiction was like breaking up with a boyfriend. She also blames her battle with the drug on her early success as a child star. The singer revealed in an interview with Time magazine, "Meth was the hardest boyfriend I ever had to break up with. It's the drug that's addictive but it's why you start doing it in the first place that's interesting. A lot of it was being a child actor. I learned to suppress feelings." Before embarking on her musical career, Fergie starred in the classic US sitcoms Mr Belvedere and Married With Children and also appeared in cult horror spoof Monster in the Closet.
