Cameron Diaz to Fight the Sun

Cameron Diaz has decided to file a lawsuit against the The Sun, which published a story in which they stated that she had had an affair with a married man. The Hollywood star, who is dating Justin Timberlake, found herself in the tabloids this week, in photographs with a mystery man. Diaz's presentatives have rubbished the allegations, but the paper has made no comment. "Cameron Diaz has today instructed her solicitors Schillings to issue and serve libel proceedings against the publishers of The Sun newspaper," a statement said. It is the latest in a string of press problems for the Diaz/Timberlake couple, who are romoured to have got married last weekend, with Timberlake currently pursuing legal action in an unrelated case against the News of the World, which printed a story that he cheated on Diaz. His case should be heard in court next October.
