Cameron Diaz Slams 'Sick' Cosmetic Surgery
Screen actress Cameron Diaz is sickened by the number of women who resort to plastic surgery - because it takes away their natural character.
The Charlie'S Angels star believes that real beauty comes from the inside, and cannot be manufactured on the outside with facelifts and nosejobs.
She says, "Why would they want to destroy their own character? To me that's sick. I mean, I've broken my nose four times, but I wouldn't dream of getting it fixed because it's part of who I am.
"Women, in particular, are guilty of this. The sooner we accept that we're going to age and die, the richer a life we'll all have. Pinning back our faces won't alter our ultimate fate. And, I'd like to be able to blink without the risk of everything coming undone.
"Beauty comes from the inside, but that's not the message we're selling to young girls in society today. It's really dangerous.
"When I see people who've had plastic surgery, it's so unnerving. All I can see is the surgery; the person's vanished beneath it.
"I have no desire to look like that ever. The embalmed look really doesn't work for me."
