Madonna and Ritchie confirm split

Madonna and Guy Ritchie will announce their divorce in the next week, it has been officially reported.
Relations were still cordial and they expected to agree a settlement without going to court, according to Madonna's spokeswoman. The statement followed several months of speculation that the couple's relationship was in trouble. The pair appeared together at last month's premiere of Ritchie's RocknRolla in London, walking arm-in-arm and posing for photographs in London's Leicester Square.
In recent months, some romours were spreading that the queen of Pop is having an affair with New York Yankees player Alex Rodriguez.
