Jordan's wedding named one of most stylish ever

The wedding of Jordan and Peter Andre has been named as one of the most stylish of all time. Upmarket bridal magazine Conde Nast Brides has named the Barbie-pink ceremony the ninth most stylish in its list of the top 50 chic weddings ever. Beating the cool white Yves St Laurent trouser suit worn by Bianca Jagger in 1971, the magazine had to hand it to Jordan for doing her own thing: "Jordan's Swarovski-crystal and tulle wedding dress transformed her from C-list to A-list overnight. Whether you love it or not, you have to admire her for living out her fairytale dream." More predictably, the nuptials of classic Hollywood beauty Grace Kelly and Prince Rainier of Monaco in 1956 was named the ultimate in bridal glamour with Aussie star Nicole Kidman taking second place for the elegant one-shouldered gown worn to her wedding to troubled rocker Keith Urban last year. The ex-wife of Tom Cruise, Nicole beat Katie Holmes in the magazine's style rankings. Katie wore a classic Armani gown to her nuptials to the Mission Impossible actor last year but couldn't do better than Jordan's huge pink gown, one-foot-high tiara and fairytale-style wedding carriage.
