Singer and actress Jessica Simpson is ste to begin lobbying members of the American congress, to draw more attention to children's issues. The star and lawyers from Operation Smile, area about to Washington to speak on behalf of the children's charity, which provides for children with facial abnormalities. Last year, Simpson was invited to Africa by Operation Smile to see how the charity can make a difference. A source close to the organisation confirms, "She's in the phase of her life now where she wants to use her celebrity for good."
