I am Suri Cruise!

Suri Cruise will finally make her public debut five months after her birth, when photos of the baby hit newsstands on Wednesday. The photos, taken by Annie Leibovitz, on July 27 at Cruise's Telluride, Colorado spread, are part of a 22-page feature in upcoming issue of Vanity Fair. In the magazine, Cruise insists Suri has "Kate's lips and eyes," while Holmes thinks she looks "more like Tom." Vanity Fair reporter Jane Sarkin stayed with the couple for five days and found out that Cruise's first date was with Holmes on April 18, exactly one year before Suri was born. She also learned that when Cruise proposed to Holmes at the Eiffel Tower in Paris on June 17, the actor got down on one knee and recited a two-page poem he had written. Cruise and Holmes both claim to be bewildered by the "Where's Suri?" campaign, which has dominated the press since the baby's birth. Cruise claims, "We were always going to release a photo." Holmes adds, "We weren't trying to hide anything."
