Uma Thurman's $36 million deal

Uma Thurman has signed a $36 million deal to promote Virgin Media, the company formed by the merger of Virgin Mobile and NTL. The actress follows in the footsteps of supermodel Kate Moss and Pamela Anderson, who have appeared in adverts for Virgin Mobile. Virgin Media managing director James Kydo says, "We are thrilled that Uma will be helping us launch the most exciting and the biggest Virgin branded company in the world."
