Paris Hilton has created waves on one of Australia's most popular beaches. Arriving in Sydney yesterday, the hotel heiress set off to popular Bondi Beach where she was helping an Australian beer company select the new face of a low-carb beer called Bondi Blonde. "Hey Australia," Paris said to the crowd. "I'm really excited to be here in Sydney for New Year's." The socialite helped pick 40 bikini-clad finalists in yesterday's proceedings before trying out the water in a two-piece bathing suit. Before leaving the beach, party-girl Paris showered on the public beach, as onlookers took snaps of her on their mobile phones. Paris's next engagement with the beer company will see her join surfer Koby Abberton on New Year's Day to help pick a winner in a parade at the Bondi Icebergs Club. She is due to fly out of Sydney on January 2nd 2007 but no announcement has been made on how Paris, who is famous for her partying, plans to spend her New Year's Eve down under. The beer company is confident that Paris will be able to make her New Year's Day engagement at 13:00 local time.
