Pamela Anderson Too Risqué for NBC

NBC has decided to cut a portion of Pamela Anderson's television show on the grounds that the scene was not appropriate for a family audience. The Canadian actress was performing a pole dance for a television special with Elton John, entitled Elton John: The Red Piano. The show was recorded at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, and Anderson's sexy dance routine to Elton John's song The Bitch is Back was deemed too hot for television. The network exlplained their decision in a statement: "We believed the content was not appropriate for 8 p.m.-7 central time and decided to pull the song from the special."
