Mischa Barton was reportedly rushed to hospital in LA on Sunday evening after suffering an adverse reaction to medication. According to entertainment website TMZ.com the 21-year-old actress fell ill after downing "a few holiday cocktails" at a friend's barbeque to celebrate Memorial Day in the US. Barton has been taking medication for bronchitis contracted during her travels between Cannes, London and Paris over the past few weeks. Yet despite apparently forgetting that drink and drugs just don't mix, the star is supposedly none the worse for wear despite her ordeal. A representative for Barton told that the actress, currently recovering in an LA medical centre, was with family and was "feeling much better".
