Jennifer Lopez has decided to cast off her J-Lo nickname to try and improve her diva image. The actress and singer told the Sun that she had intended the shorthand name to be fun, but that it had now got out of control and really crazy. "That's all gone with the stories about me throwing tantrums and insisting on Egyptian sheets. That's all firmly in my past," she said. Over her career, Jennifer has reportedly made eccentric demands such as forbidding her security guards from making eye contact with her and forcing a recording studio to change the wattage and angle of the lighting to make her look good.
But Jennifer has recently returned to her roots and released a Spanish language album which stayed at number one in the US Latin album chart for four weeks. Such success will have added to the millions Jennifer has raked in from her film roles, which include rom-coms
The Wedding Planner and
Monster-In-Law. But she said that it's not all about getting rich. "If you focus on the money you're not going to get anywhere," she explained. "If money is your motivation you're going to be such an empty shallow person."
