A favourite with Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes, the cult of Scientology has further infiltrated Hollywood with actress Jennifer Lopez speaking up to defend it while being interviewed on TV. The sexy singer says that her dad has been a follower of Scientology for over 20 years and that it is a shame that the public have such a confused perception of the religion. She said, "It's weird people want to paint it in a negative way. I, myself, am Catholic. But it's just sad that people would look at Scientology in that way." Having attended the wedding of TomKat which famously included the cult's ritual of the groom offering his bride a cat and a comb, Jennifer says it was a great celebration of their love and very beautiful. Weddings may be on Jennifer's mind this week as she finally gained a restraining order on first husband Ojani Noa who has been threatening to publish a tell-all book on their brief love affair.
