Heather Locklear is seeking treatment for anxiety and depression in a rehab facility in Arizona, her representative has revealed.
The actress is going to be cared for by professionals who will evaluate her medical condition. Her representative Cece Yorke said, "Heather has been dealing with anxiety and depression. She requested an in-depth evaluation of her medication and entered into a medical facility for proper diagnosis and treatment. This is a confidential medical matter and no further statement will be released."
The announcement comes just three months after a friend of the 46-year-old actress rang the emergency services, fearing Heather was suicidal and suggesting she was planning to overdose on her depression medication. Following the incident, Heather revealed she was fine and did not need medical help for her condition.
