Eva Longoria and her husband Tony Parker have denied reports their marriage is in trouble after Parker was alleged to have had an affair with a French model.
On Wednesday, Alexandra Paressant claimed she and Parker had embarked on a two-month affair behind the Eva's back after the basketball player slipped her his telephone number at his July wedding reception. Paressant was at Parker and Longoria's French nuptials as the date of soccer hero Thierry Henry. But Parker has dismissed Paressant's claims, telling People, "I love my wife. She's the best thing in my life, and I have never been happier."
The model's allegations have been the first major test of the couple's five-month-old marriage, but Longoria insists she is standing by her man. She adds, "Tony has been nothing short of the perfect husband." And in an official statement addressing the claims, the actress's publicist says the allegations are "completely, 100 percent false and untrue."
