The 24-year-old actress, who had to wear numerous pairs of gloves for her role as Britain's Queen Victoria in new drama
The Young Victoria, believes her fear goes back to childhood trips to the doctors. She explained, "I don't know what it is. Maybe it's something about doctors' gloves. But I feel completely suffocated in them."
The British star also revealed she almost fainted when she first had to don a corset for the role. She added to GQ magazine, "I did pull a whitey on the first costume fitting, but I was jet-lagged! I slouch all the time, and the corset just won't allow you to do that. But my slouching took over because I managed to break three whalebones!"
