Anne Hathaway slams weight-obsessed directors

Anne Hathaway has waded in on the size zero debate by blasting film directors who encourage actresses to shed a few pounds before filming. Speaking to Glamour magazine, the actress declared that image was still the biggest concern of many a Hollywood director. "I've had directors go 'you're best for the role, but you've put on weight'," she said before adding, "If they make a big deal about five pounds, I don't want to deal with them." Anne joins the myriad of Hollywood A-lister women who are campaigning for bigger girls to be given the starring roles.
