Frank Miller has reportedly already started writing the script for Sin City 2, which he will co-direct with Robert Rodriguez. Speaking at the Cannes Film Festival, Miller said that it's too soon to talk about casting, but he did confirm that the film will be shot entirely on green screen, just as the first film, with the background superimposed afterwards. Miller was a part of a large group of stars from Sin City who arrived at Cannes for the Film Festival. Mickey Rourke, Benicio Del Toro, Jessica Alba, Michael Madsen and Brittany Murphy were all in attendance. Sin City has already earned $72.9 million at the box office.
