Kylie Minogue, who has just been diagnosed with breast cancer, is to undergo an operation at the end of this week. The information was confirmed by Terry Blamey, the 36 year-old star's agent for most of her career, who added that tests have revealed that the cancer has not spread through her body. The surgery will take place at the private Cabrini hospital in Melbourne, Australia. Blamey said, "Kylie Minogue returned to her family's home in Melbourne with French boyfriend Olivier Martinez following the diagnosis, cancelling the Australian and Asian legs of her Showgirl tour. The star herself also released a statement. "My heartfelt thanks to the incredible number of people who have sent messages of love and support over the last two days," she said.
